About Us
We began
raising Longhorns in 1999.
It all started when Jody
was digging a tank for John
& Christy Randolph (Lonesome
Pines Ranch). Jody
called me and said that
I needed to come out on
my lunch and look at some
beautiful cows. I
really wasn’t too thrilled
on doing that; but I did
and I am really glad that
I did. It was love
at first site. I spent lots
of lunch hours out there
after that. Something about
this breed once they get
into your blood it’s hard
to get them out. We aren’t
large breeders and like
others we have found it
takes some trial and error.
But we have enjoyed every
step of the way. We are
members of South Texas Longhorn
Breeders Association. Our
son Patrick has started
showing. He really
likes it and has made some
new friends along the way.
